About The Event

A relatively new branch of psychology, most people have not yet heard of positive psychology and won't know what it is. You'd be forgiven for thinking that it has something to do with 'positive thinking'. It doesn't.

Positive psychology is the scientific study of 'the positive' or the good in life. It is a grounded, practical and empirically researched area of psychology, the learnings from which can help us live happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives.

This one-day seminar introduces you to the main areas of positive psychology and furnishes you with a number of exercises which you can take away with you to increase the good in your own life.

Time will be set aside for explanatory questions and a suggested reading and watch list will be provided to help set you off on your own voyage of discovery in the world of positive psychology, should you wish to continue after this day.
